Our whistleblower system
Complying with relevant statutory regulations and internal rules, and the principles laid down in our Code of Conduct and the Code of Conduct for Business Partners, has top priority at diconium. The success of our company is based on Integrity and Compliance. To meet these standards, it is important to learn of potential misconduct and to put a stop to it. Therefore, we have set up an independent, impartial and confidential Whistleblower System.
A key pillar of our Whistleblower System is the principle of procedural fairness. It also lays out the possible and legally allowed protection for whistleblowers, persons implicated and employees contributing to the investigation of reported misconduct.
This also includes offering opportunities for anonymous reporting and communication. We assure you not to perform steps in order to identify anonymous whistleblowers, who do not misuse our Whistleblower System. Retaliation of whistleblowers and all people who contribute to investigations at diconium will not be tolerated. Investigations upon reasonable suspicion will be conducted with the utmost confidentiality. The information will be processed in a fair and protected process.
How does the company process reports received?
Both reports concerning potential misconduct by employees of diconium China or concerning potential violations of the Code of Conduct for Business Partners by suppliers are forwarded to an external law firm commissioned by the company. First, with the reported information, you will get a confirmation of receipt. The external law firm then assesses your report. This includes gathering facts particularly from the whistleblower. Only if this initial evaluation shows sufficient grounds for reasonable suspicion of a violation, the law firm will conduct a thorough review and recommend appropriate measures (if applicable) in accordance with applicable procedures. This particularly includes taking the necessary/applicable measures to minimize or end violations and/or risks.

Our Whistleblower System offers a confidential channel to report potential misconduct by diconium employees, violations of the Code of Conduct for Business Partners or serious risk and violations of human rights and environment in our Supply Chain.
