The diconium group ("diconium", hereinafter also referred to as "we") is pleased to welcome you to our website. We process and use the personal data that is collected when you visit our website confidentially and only in accordance with the provisions of the applicable data protection laws. The protection of our website users' personal data is our highest priority.

Web server logging

When you access our website, our web servers automatically capture information that is of a general nature. This includes:

  • The domain name of the Internet service provider
  • The IP address of the computer being used
  • The website from which you were directed to us
  • The pages on our website that you visit as well as the date and duration of the visit.

This only refers to information that does not make it possible to arrive at conclusions as to your identity. We, or third parties commissioned by us, use this data only to ensure proper operations and functions, in order to provide you with the collected data, or to defend the company's interests in case of misuse.

The data processing is in compliance with Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. f GDPR to fulfill legitimate interests.

Contact form

As part of the voluntary use of our provided contact form, your contact details including your first and last name, your e-mail address and optionally your telephone number are collected. We need your e-mail address and (optionally) your telephone number so that we can contact you in case of questions or for information about your request.
There is no obligation to use the contact form. This is based on your free decision in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. Your data will only be used to fulfill your request and then deleted, as long as there is no legal, contractual or statutory retention obligation to the contrary. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by using the contact form or the contact details provided in the legal notice.

We use so-called "cookies". Cookies are small text files that are stored on an Internet user's hard disk by their browser when they visit a website. These cookies do not damage the Internet user's hard disk and do not contain viruses. Most cookies are so-called "session cookies". The content of the cookies cannot be linked to individual users.

Web tracking

After your consent, web analyses are used on this site to determine the reach pursuant to Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. f GDPR, to implement legitimate interests for the effective layout of promotional activities and public relations work. In conjunction with this, the collection of personal data is reduced to a minimum, given that in all cases the IP is anonymized as soon as your IP address is received by the respective web server. The controller does not merge this information with any other data, which would in particular make it possible to identify the user.

Use of Google AdWords

This website uses Google AdWords, an analysis service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). During this process, Google AdWords places a cookie onto your computer ("conversion cookie"), if you have been referred to our website by a Google advertisement. These cookies lose their effectiveness after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If you are visiting certain pages on our websites and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google will be able to see that someone has clicked on the advertisement and has been referred to our site as a result. Each AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Hence, cookies can not be tracked via the websites of AdWords customers. The information obtained with the assistance of conversion cookies is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted to use conversion tracking. We do not receive any information that would allow us to personally identify the users.
If you do not want to participate in this tracking process, you can refuse the required setting of a cookie, for instance by making adjustments to your browser settings that generally deactivate the automatic setting of cookies. You can also deactivate conversion tracking cookies by setting your browser to a mode that blocks cookies from the domain "googleadservices.com".

If you do not wish to participate in the tracking process, you can also refuse the setting of a cookie required for this via the Consent Manager.

There is no obligation to consent to the use of your data for the use of Google AdWords. This is based on your free decision according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. Your data will only be used by us for this purpose and will be deleted after expiry of the storage period or upon revocation of your consent. The use until the time of revocation remains lawful.

LinkedIn Analytics und Marketing Solutions

We use with your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR) on our website, a service of LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland (hereinafter referred to as: "LinkedIn"). LinkedIn Analytics stores and processes information about your user behavior on our website.

We use LinkedIn Analytics for marketing and optimization purposes, in particular to analyze the use of our website and to continuously improve individual functions and offers as well as the user experience. The statistical evaluation of user behavior allows us to improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user.

Marketing Solutions is used to show you personalized advertisements about our products on LinkedIn. For this purpose, LinkedIn links the call of our web content with your LinkedIn account, provided you are logged in. If you are logged in to LinkedIn, you can deactivate the data collection at any time using the following link: https://www.linkedin.com/psettings/enhanced-advertising.

LinkedIn uses, among other things, cookies, i.e. small text files that are stored locally in the memory of your web browser on your end device and that enable an analysis of your use of our website. You can prevent the installation of cookies by deleting existing cookies and deactivating the storage of cookies in the settings of your web browser. We would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of our website in full. In addition, you can deactivate the use of LinkedIn Analytics again at any time via the Consent Manager.

 

E-mail newsletter

You can register to receive a free newsletter. We use a double opt-in process for sending the newsletter. That means we will only send you the newsletter by e-mail when you have provided your express consent stating that we, or an affiliate of the diconium Group, should activate the newsletter service. Once you have registered, we will send a notification e-mail to the address you provided and request that you confirm your newsletter registration by clicking on one of the links contained in the e-mail.

At all times, and with effect for the future, you can object to the use of your personal data for e-mail advertising purposes. It is sufficient to send an e-mail to newsletter@diconium.com or to one of the addresses provided below. You will also find an "unsubscribe" link in every newsletter. Your revocation will not result in any additional costs other than those incurred through standard transmission costs.

The processing of your data occurs in accordance with your consent as per Art. 6, Sec. 1 letter a) GDPR for purposes of mailing the newsletter. As long as there are no conflicting interests on your part, your personal data will be deleted if you do not confirm receipt of the newsletter or if you unsubscribe from the newsletter. Conflicting interests on your part are, in particular, the exercising of a right to object to advertising. Your personalized data is collected for the implementation of your objection to receive advertising in order to adhere to this request in future (Art. 6 Sec. 1 letter c GDPR). A usage for any other purposes is not processed.

The mailing of the e-mail newsletter is processed by the technical service provider HubSpot Inc., 25 First Street, 2nd Floor, Cambridge, MA 02141, USA ("HubSpot"). We forward the data you’ve provide to us upon newsletter registration to HubSpot. The data you have entered for the purpose of receiving the newsletter (e.g., the e-mail address) is stored on the servers of HubSpot in Germany. 

Measures have been agreed with HubSpot Inc. to protect your data outside the EU in order to continue to guarantee your rights and your right to data protection. HubSpot Inc. is also certified according to the PrivacyFramework.

On our behalf, HubSpot uses the provided data for mailing the newsletter as well as for conducting statistical analyses. For the analyses, the e-mails sent contain web beacons or tracking pixels that represent one-pixel image files that are stored on our website. This enables us to determine whether or not a newsletter mail has been opened and which links, if any, were accessed. With the help of conversion tracking, it can furthermore be analyzed whether or not a predefined action (e.g., product purchase on our website) occurred after the newsletter link was clicked. Moreover, technical information is recorded (e.g., time of access, IP address, type of browser, and operating system).

Using this information, we create a user profile of your activities on our website so that we can better understand your interests and better customize our information.

HubSpot – Conversion-Tracking

On our website, we use the content and forms provided by HubSpot Inc., 25 First Street, 2nd Floor, Cambridge, MA 02141, USA for our marketing activities. HubSpot is a software company based in the United States of America and with a subsidiary in Germany (HubSpot Germany GmbH, Am Postbahnhof 17, 10243 Berlin). We use the integrated software solution for our own marketing, for lead generation, and for customer service purposes. This includes, among others, e-mail marketing which controls the mailing of newsletters as well as automated mailings, social media publishing and reporting, contact management such as the user segmentation, landing pages, and contact forms.

HubSpot uses cookies, which are small text files that are stored locally in your browser’s cache on your device. Cookies allow us to analyze your usage of the website. The recorded information (e.g., IP address, the geographical location, type of browser, duration of visit, and pages visited) is analyzed by HubSpot per our order so that we can generate reports about the visit and the visited pages.

Information recorded using HubSpot as well as partial content from our website is stored on servers run by service providers of HubSpot in Germany.

HubSpot manages the conversion tracking function. In the process, we collect and combine the data you have transferred to us, your access to our social media accounts and website, your downloading of data and files, your receipt of e-mails, or your interest in our products, services, and job offers. We use this information to provide you with relevant content (in accordance with your interests) or to further tailor our offers towards these interests.

Furthermore, HubSpot compiles a "score value" about you in order to qualify you as a potential lead and to determine possible sales opportunities and probabilities for success.

Your data is only forwarded to HubSpot if you have provided your consent within the scope of newsletter registration or through consent management (Art. 6, Sec. 1 letter a) GDPR). You may revoke your provided consent at any time if you deactivate the data processing function via consent management and unsubscribe from the newsletter (see section "e-mail newsletter").

Measures have been agreed with HubSpot Inc. to protect your data outside the EU in order to continue to guarantee your rights and your right to data protection. HubSpot Inc. is also certified according to the PrivacyFramework.

Use of Azure OpenAI Microsoft

Azure OpenAI Microsoft, which is hosted and operated by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, is used to implement the DicoBot. Microsoft is a software company from the USA with a branch in Ireland (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, D18 P521, Ireland).

The business purpose is to enable users to interact more seamlessly and efficiently with the content of the data from the website and to demonstrate the company's ability to develop and deliver new solutions and services using innovative technologies.

The conversation data of users who choose to interact with the chatbot on our website is processed. The data consists of the exchange of messages between users and an AI unit with the content of our website.

The described processing of your data is based on the legitimate interest of Diconium GmbH to offer you improved information and interactions that are personally tailored to the user (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).

The information is deleted after a maximum of 24 months. The data is not transmitted. Further information on data processing by Azure OpenAI Microsoft can be found in the Microsoft notes (Data collection of diagnostic information by Microsoft | Microsoft Azure).

Use of Google Maps

For the provision of location information, we use the Google Inc. product Google Maps. When Google Maps is integrated, data, in particular the IP address, is also transferred to Google. Google collects, processes and uses visitor data about the use of the map functions. More detailed information about Google's data processing may be reviewed in the data privacy information published by Google (https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/).

The data processing is carried out according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR to fulfill our legitimate interests to optimize the website offer.

Customer Satisfaction Survey

In order to improve quality and develop services in a customer-oriented manner, customer satisfaction surveys are carried out among individual customers with the prior consent of the customer. General customer or prospect surveys are not carried out.

The surveys are carried out anonymously and no data of the person concerned is requested or processed by the responsible person. However, it cannot be ruled out that personal information may be included in the answers. The information is processed on the basis of the interests of the company (Art. 6 Para. 1 f GDPR) following effective business management and customer-oriented further development of the services. The information is stored until the survey has been evaluated and the measures have been determined and then deleted.

To implement the customer satisfaction survey, the survey tool Microsoft Forms is used, which is hosted and operated by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited. To provide the service and implement IT security, Microsoft processes information about your browser history, device, connectivity and configuration data, IP addresses, bug reports and performance data, or responses to surveys. Customer specific Surveys

diconium digital solutions GmbH conducts surveys on behalf of its customers in order to ascertain the interest of users in products or ideas of customers and to develop applications in the interests of users.

The surveys are carried out anonymously and no data of the person concerned is requested or processed by the responsible person. However, it cannot be excluded that personal information will be included in the answers. The information is processed on the basis of the company's interest (Art. 6 para. 1 f GDPR) in the performance of the contractually guaranteed service and the truthful reflection of the survey results. The information is stored until the survey is evaluated and then deleted. The data will not be transmitted, in particular to the client.

To implement the survey, the survey tool Microsoft Forms is used, which is hosted and operated by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited. To provide the service and implement IT security, Microsoft processes data about your browser history, device, connectivity and configuration data, IP addresses, bug reports and performance data, or responses to surveys. Hosting

Our website is hosted by an external hosting service provider (HubSpot Inc., Amazon Web Services) in Germany. We have concluded an order processing agreement and an EU standard contract with HubSpot to ensure that data collected when the website is displayed is handled in accordance with data protection regulations.

Cloudflare

The CDN services of Cloudflare are used to provide this website. CDN services (Content Delivery Networks) are globally distributed regional servers that store the content of our website and thus make it available more quickly. We also use CDN services to provide content and program libraries that are required for the use of Internet services across websites. If you access our website, the content of our website is provided regionally via the CDN service (e.g. requests from Germany are answered by servers in Germany or requests from the USA are answered by servers in the USA). Cloudflare processes your IP address to provide the content. If unusual, harmful or unauthorized requests are made to the CDN services, these are also documented in security logs with your IP address in order to be able to trace them. Evaluations and security checks of EU requests only take place within the EU. Data processing is based on our interest in making this website available to you quickly, securely and appropriately worldwide and on our interest in ensuring the security of our website (Art. 6 para. 1 f GDPR). EU standard contracts have been concluded with Cloudflare to ensure the necessary protective measures and your rights as a data subject. Right to object (Art. 21. Sect. 1 GDPR)

If your information is being processed to protect legitimate interests, you have the right to object to such processing at any time  by getting in touch with us at the contact information provided, if your special situation gives rise to grounds that are in conflict with such data processing. In this case, we shall cease to process this data, unless our legitimate interests outweigh your grounds.

Right to revoke (Art. 13. Sect. 2 c GDPR)

If you have agreed to the processing of your data, you do have the right to revoke your consent with future effect.
