Daimler AG

DIGITAL WORKSPACE

In Stuttgart, Daimler AG has put into operation a pioneering office concept for digital, creative work. Planning and realization: diconium.

Our story

01

The Challenge

The challenges involved identifying a suitable location, designing and creating office spaces tailored for digital work, and effectively managing the property. Additionally, we aimed to plan and implement a collaboration space that caters to meetings, breaks, and events.

02

Our Solution

Spanning five floors and covering an area of 3,500 square meters, a representative workspace has been created that embodies the pioneering spirit and self-image of the automotive group as a digital leader. This space seamlessly integrates various meeting and working areas, accommodating every work situation and employee need—whether private and informal or open and communicative. Everything is meticulously tailored to align with the group's DNA and requirements.

The project involved the conversion of a former factory building into office space spread across five floors, totaling 3,500 m². The design features a communicative and open layout with designated zones for solo work, meetings, and teamwork. Additionally, a collaboration area was planned in close proximity to enhance interaction. The realization encompassed the complete renovation and conversion, as well as the implementation of technical infrastructure and equipment.

03

Successes

The project has resulted in a prestigious address in the heart of Stuttgart, featuring 250 new workplaces along with an event location. These future-proof spaces are designed to support agile and innovative work, ensuring a high quality of stay for all employees and visitors.
