The Challenge
The challenge was to optimize the B2B sales and service platform, enhancing its attractiveness through the implementation of new features while ensuring it could scale effectively for a global rollout.

Our Solution
The unified B2B platform based on Intershop provides business customers with access to over 100,000 products, complete with essential information such as CAD and CAM data, installation manuals, and service documents. To ensure customers can quickly find the right products, the platform features detailed search functions, product comparisons, and additional services like tailored suggestions and inspiration. Users benefit from extensive account management capabilities, allowing them to manage and track orders, view their order history, and create customized stock lists.
We successfully migrated to the latest Intershop platform, integrating a comprehensive search and navigation engine and focusing on ongoing optimization and continuous functional enhancements to meet the evolving needs of our customers.

Successes
The platform offers extensive search and navigation options, along with comprehensive order management functions that enhance the personalized user experience in the web shop. New features have been seamlessly integrated, and the rollout has successfully expanded to over 40 countries, including the DACH region, the UK, China, Russia, and the USA.
Häfele's philosophy is to get as close as possible to its customers. This is reflected in a user-friendly online platform that combines information and search and navigation options with order management functions.
