Kaiser + Kraft
SHOP PLATFORM DEVELOPMENT
Based on the Hybris B2B Accelerator, diconium developed an optimized and user-friendly webshop for Kaiser+Kraft, which features a fresh design and numerous new functions.
Our story
01
The Challenge
Our challenge was to provide an upgradeable B2B multi-client platform, design brand stores for a customer-oriented and rapid rollout, and support the relaunch of three brands: KAISER+KRAFT, gaerner, and KWESTO.
02
Our Solution
Based on the hybris B2B accelerator, diconium developed an optimized and user-friendly web store for the company, showcasing a fresh design along with numerous new features. The product comparison tool, which allows users to compare up to three items for the first time, and the notepad function serve as practical shopping aids, enhancing the shopping experience across 34 country-specific stores in 16 languages.
The platform offers a flexible display of product overviews and automatically reloading content, along with a quick order function for logged-in customers. Additionally, we captured and refined 28,000 product records, all implemented on the hybris framework.
03
Successes
We created a flexible and upgradeable B2B multi-client base platform tailored for brand stores with varying requirements. The platform features a B2B-optimized design and concept, facilitating simplified shopping through specialized B2B features and processes.
Our efforts were recognized with the Shop Usability Award in 2014, and we proudly won the “B2B Shop” category at the Swiss E-Commerce Award in 2015.
Good work! After the successful relaunch of 31 B2B online stores, we are now looking forward to further, future-oriented e-commerce projects with diconium. On the one hand, we are working together on new functions that make shopping in the store even easier and thus even better for our customers; on the other hand, we are following relevant trends in order to be able to react quickly and agilely to both market and new consumer needs. Of course, such projects require a lot of proximity and trust, and with diconium we have found exactly the right partner for this. The success proves us right: not only have we taken our online store one step further towards the future, but we have also gained a lot of experience and new satisfied customers.
