Haberkorn
Scalable IT architecture for Haberkorn
Our story
01
The Challenge
The IT architecture for e-business and e-commerce, developed over many years, has served its purpose for current requirements but lacks the flexibility to keep pace with the rapid dynamics of the trade industry in the long term. To drive continued success in e-business and e-commerce, Haberkorn faced the critical challenge of designing a new IT architecture. This architecture needed to provide maximum flexibility and scalability, ensuring the company could continue to adapt quickly and efficiently to future market changes and innovations.
02
Our Solution
In close collaboration with Haberkorn, diconium developed an innovative IT architecture that serves as the foundation for addressing the diverse needs of the retailer's various departments in the future. At the heart of the concept is a MACH architecture (Microservice-based, API-first, Cloud-native, and Headless) featuring an integration layer and centralized user management. This design is an open, modular system, built to scale quickly and flexibly in response to evolving business and market demands.
A critical factor in the success of this architecture was the strong partnership between Haberkorn and diconium. From the very beginning, the two companies worked in a spirit of mutual trust, collaboratively defining action areas and requirements to develop forward-looking ideas, strategic perspectives, and concrete recommendations for action.
03
Successes
With the planned IT architecture, Haberkorn is equipped with a future-proof technological framework. Once implemented as designed, this concept will lay the foundation for strategically scaling the business and achieving sustainable growth.
Its open, modular environment enables independent development of individual services, accelerates time-to-market, and enhances cost efficiency. By adopting this approach, Haberkorn is poised to unlock its vast digital potential further. Moving forward, diconium will continue to support Haberkorn on its transformation journey, implementing the IT architecture step by step.
For us, trust-based teamwork is the foundation of success. This perfectly captures our partnership with diconium: we feel fully understood and exceptionally well-supported by the diconium team. Together, we have developed a concept to bring the new architecture to life step by step, establishing a future-proof IT foundation for the growth of our e-business and e-commerce offerings. I am excited to continue our collaboration
